Buyer questions

Questions before choosing a bottle labeller.

Are oil bottles usually round or flat?

Both formats are common, so the correct labeller depends on whether the container needs wraparound or front/back application.

Does product residue matter?

Containers should be presented clean and dry at the label area for consistent label adhesion.

Specify the oil pack as it reaches labelling

Food oil and industrial lubricant bottles can share a broad container shape while presenting different production conditions. Describe the filled product, the actual bottle surface and the label panel independently. Include any residue observed after filling rather than assuming a clean empty display bottle represents the line.

If the pack uses a handled or rectangular container, show the intended front and back and the available guiding surfaces. For round bottles, mark the desired seam position and any relationship to a pourer or cap feature. Ask the trial to use the proposed material and finished pack condition.

Pack appearance
Agree how edge lift, surface marks and label alignment will be checked immediately after application and at the agreed later review.
Material responsibility
Ask the label supplier to confirm the proposed adhesive and stock for the stated surface and storage conditions.

Can the same labeller be considered for food oil and lubricant packs?

It can be assessed, but list each container, label and operating requirement separately. Request a format-by-format statement of suitability, change parts and cleaning or changeover arrangements for the actual proposal.
